DeepSeek off-peak hours, explained
What are off-peak hours?
DeepSeek API peak hours are 01:00–04:00 and 06:00–10:00 UTC on regular weekdays. Off-peak hours are 00:00–01:00, 04:00–06:00 and 10:00–24:00 UTC. Weekends and Chinese public holidays are off-peak all day.
Weekend and holiday dates follow Beijing time (UTC+8). The countdown skips those days and finds the next actual price change. Under the reviewed pricing schedule, off-peak token rates are 50% lower than peak rates.
The clock converts the schedule to your selected timezone, including daylight-saving changes. Choose your city at the top to see DeepSeek off-peak time in your country.
Clock, privacy & verification
No location permission is needed. Your browser supplies a timezone. Choose another using the timezone control or Ctrl K. Your choice stays on this device.
Using your device clock
Rules reviewed 30 September 2026. Holiday dates verified through December 2026.
Checking the official source in the background.
The countdown continues if the connection drops. If rules change or an unverified holiday year could affect a peak window, the page asks you to check official pricing.
Does this apply to the chat app?
This clock follows pricing for requests sent directly to the DeepSeek API. DeepSeek Chat and other providers may use different billing rules. Check your provider before using the countdown to plan a paid workload.
Peak pricing is a billing window, not a live server-load reading. An off-peak window does not guarantee faster responses. DeepSeek determines the price charged for each API request.
Are rates updated automatically?
The page checks the official DeepSeek pricing document in the background and updates recognized token prices. If the source is unavailable, it uses a recent verified snapshot and shows a notice.
If the schedule changes or the saved rules become too old, the clock marks pricing as unconfirmed instead of guessing. Chinese holiday calendars require verification each year; the verified year is shown below.
